Will you take me back?

Take me back?

Hello friends, how have these past winters treated you?

I’m sorry I’ve been absent; I don’t even remember leaving I just did suddenly. It’s funny it wasn’t planned and I didn’t even notice that my life had changed; I was just doing this one minute and then the next I wasn’t.
It’s been a couple years and a lots changed, the main thing being that I achieved the dream and moved to China!
I finally finished my cruise ship work after 5 contracts with Disney Cruise Line and 2 contracts with Royal Caribbean International.
I finally had enough with the work and moved for a small space of time to Auckland, New Zealand.
I was spending my time teaching acting workshops for kids and teenagers in Australia and New Zealand, doing plenty of auditioning and getting tiny bit roles in TV spots and commercials.
Then one day the director of a theatre company I teach at referred me to a job in Shanghai, one Skype call later and it was all arranged. They literally wanted me in the city in a week and a half…. So naturally I said yes!
It was insanely fast moving that quickly, I had to sort out my car and all my stuff, not to mention my apartment and getting visas and flights all in less than 2 weeks.
It’s long over now and I’ve been living here a little while. I teaching drama and movement for kids and do consulting occasionally for adult performances, I also do a little casting work on the side.
As times been passing I’ve been building up stories, thoughts and opinions and not been blogging about them which is insane. I’ve been writing them down however and am going to put them out into the world soon as short book that I’m going to finish and self publish.
In the mean time I’m going to try to pick back up blogging again, share stories that I’m going to talk more about in the little self published book and try to create a rhythm of posts once again.
I use to really enjoy talking here regularly and had even made friends so I’m hoping to pick up where I left off and for the first time in my life create some consistency.
Now that I’m not travelling somewhere new every single day I have the chance to erect some sort of life for the first time. So I think it’s high time I start some disciplines that I can try to maintain for an actual length of time. Let’s see how it goes!
